NM warns it may cut Medicaid

When the state put together its budget for fiscal year 2011, which starts on July 1st, it was counting on another $160 million in federal stimulus money to cover Medicaid costs for more than 500-hundred thousand New Mexicans. Congress just voted that down. Now state leaders warn they may have to gut the program.
